Classical 5-Element Acupuncture at ITEA

FOR CLIENTS READY TO BOOK ACUPUNCTURE

I am a student intern at the Institute of Taoist Education & Acupuncture (ITEA) in Louisville.

In Classical 5-Element Acupuncture you are treated as a whole and unique person. Treatments are designed based on where you are in your body, mind and spirit on each visit. You will rarely receive the same treatment twice because you are ever-changing in this journey of life. This style of acupuncture addresses the root cause of imbalance in your system and the benefits grow over time.

All acupuncture treatments take place at the school clinic under the supervision of my teachers. The school is a learning environment: while our initial checkins will be 1:1, the supervisor will come in throughout the appointment to talk with you and support my treatment plan. There may also be an assistant and/or an observer in the room. Your health and personal information are kept confidential within the school clinic.

These sessions are seasonally-attuned, incorporate the wisdom of 5 Element Philosophy recognizing the root of imbalance in your system and address current stress, health and injuries.
